“Shit, Regina, shit. I’m gonna…” That was all the warning I needed from Ryder. I took his dick in my mouth and gave a few strong pulls as he came. Then Dane pulled me back, made sure I was balanced, and pumped into me a few more times before I exploded around him, milking him inside and drooping on his shoulder while he found his own release.

I waited for the woman who originally answered the door to return to the entry hall with my coat. Dane and Ryder, both wearing pants and sweaters now, waited by me.
“Hey, leaving already?”
I turned to see Zara poking her head out in the hallway, and I smiled. “Sweetie, it’s like almost five in the morning.”
“Is that all?” Her lips curved in a mischievous smile. “Plenty of time to be naughty. Lucky me!” She ducked back out, but I heard a laughing, “See you at work on Monday!” as the door shut behind her.
And then I was alone again with the two men I’d spent the entire evening with. It hadn’t been uncomfortable, or awkward, or weird. But now, suddenly, I was self-conscious. Were they expecting to meet up in the real world? Would they think I wanted that? Or was this a “we never met” situation? Would it hurt their feelings that I didn’t want more?
Dane’s fingers trailed down the inside of my arm until he linked fingers with mine, then pulled my hand up to kiss it. “You seem tense. You okay?”
“Sure,” I lied through my teeth.
Ryder slid a hand around my neck and looked up at the doorframe. I glanced up as well and saw what he was grinning for.
A festive sprig of mistletoe, hanging from a bright red bow. I couldn’t even laugh before he covered my mouth with his for a slow kiss that had the anxiety melting from my body by the time he pulled back.
“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about,” Ryder said quietly.
“Oh I’m not embarrassed about what—” I cut off when the woman showed up and silently handed me my coat. Dane took it from my fingers and helped me with the sleeves. As she walked away, I continued in a lower voice. “I’m not embarrassed about what happened. I just don’t know…”
“How it all ends?” Dane supplied when it was clear I had no idea what the hell I was talking about.
“Yes,” I breathed, relieved. Okay, so I wasn’t the loser of the party. They’d done this before, but at least they didn’t think I was a complete idiot for being in the dark.
Dane held out one arm, Ryder the other, and I stepped between them as we walked into the freezing-cold air. Thanks to the short days of winter, it was still pitch black, despite the early-morning hour.
I approached my car and clicked the keypad under the door to unlock it. Then I stood, once again feeling a little on the defense.
But Dane just cupped my face in his hands and gently kissed me. “Thanks for tonight.”
When he was finished, it was Ryder’s turn to plant a soft kiss on my lips. “You were amazing.”
Hmm. Amazing. “You guys were great too.”
It could have been weird, because this would be the part where you might awkwardly say, “Well, I’ll call you,” but you didn’t think you really meant it. That just didn’t seem to fit though. And then Dane saved the day.
“Maybe we’ll see you at the Heartbreaker in February?”
I tilted my head to the side and had to think for a minute. Oh. Of course. Heartbreaker. The Valentine’s-themed party here at the house. I smiled and realized they wanted to see me back for the next holiday party. I nodded and they smiled. No way was I missing out on more of this.
I drove away, the two men in my rearview mirror as I headed down the long driveway and out the wrought iron gate.
And I couldn’t help but blast the radio as they faded out of sight, then laughed as the first song popped out of the speakers.
“The most wonderful day of the year…”
About the Author
KJ Reed is an inconspicuous housewife by day, folding laundry, changing diapers and washing dishes with pleasure. But late at night, when the rest of the household is asleep and not making messes she has to pick up, she writes erotic romance. She took up writing one day when she realized the voices in her head weren’t multiple personalities, but characters begging to come out and play.
A military wife, she’s fortunate enough to be surrounded by manly, Alpha-tastic inspiration on a daily basis. Nothing stirs the blood quite like a platoon of sweaty Marines running by in formation, does it ladies? Of course, she’d tell you where she lives, except by the time you’re done reading this biography…she’s probably moved again.
KJ is currently working on her next erotic romance, hopefully hot enough to singe your socks off. She loves email and is semi-compulsive in her need to quickly respond. So send her a shout out, tell her what you liked and what you want to see more of. You’re almost guaranteed a response.
